What happened to social networking being social?
And why is it, even with x-amount of “friends”, it’s very rare nowadays that anything will be commented on, let alone a conversation coming from it.
People sit at home on facebook playing pointless games inclusive of the word “ville”.
Maybe I’m the odd one, but I miss the days when MSN would be used for conversation with others rather than people posting that they just ate toast.
I can’t wait until we go back to the days before the Internet.

I say: I agree. Virtually 99% of all web users seem to be tired of social media or simply too much self-serving. Personally i think social media is overrated, it’s really not social anymore. Once upon a time we had communities, we were humans in cyberspace, inhabitants of virtual worlds. Nowadays we are not much more than customers (or human material) of companies like Facebook and Co who sell our souls to the highest bidder.
Well, social media can still be fun, it’s better than TV. But i keep my feet down on the ground. I don’t expect too much. And i always try to be active… but i can’t do it all alone.
